Welcome to my blog, and thanks for viewing it. My name is Paul Croft and I live in a small town in Manitoba. I was a professional truck driver from 2009, but in 2019 I got a serious illness called Guillain Barre Syndrome that nearly killed me. This caused me to become disabled and I could no longer drive a truck.
When I originally started this blog, I thought that God was pointing me a direction of sharing my story of redemption and that is why the blog is called Shiny Side Up because I always want to display my shiny side and not my dirty side. But after going through my illness, I now feel that God wants me to share my miraculous recovery and that is where my blog now leads.
I will also share my views on other topics, but my main focus now is to share His word and how He got me to my current place in life. There is a major back story as to how I became a Christian and that can be found in the My Story section of my blog. I hope you will take the time to read that.
