Rebirth
When Nicodemas, a ruler of the Pharisees, approached Jesus in the night (he couldn’t come by day because contact with Jesus was forbidden), he needed to know how he could get to heaven. Jesus told him in John 3:3:
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.
Nicodemas couldn’t understand being born again and questioned Jesus, and Jesus explained in John 3:5:
Verily, verily,I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.
Through baptism we die to self and are reborn in Christ and therefore have access to the Kingdom. Have you taken that step? Are you born again?
God wants you to be born again, but He also gives us access to Knowledge, and we’ll learn about it tomorrow.
