God’s Gifts – Day 25

Salvation

Merry Christmas.  As you sit around today, sharing your gifts and feasting, take time to reflect on the greatest gift ever given to man.  This is not a new car, house, or a piece of jewelry, it is instead the gift of salvation!

John 3:16 reads: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in His should not perish, but have everlasting life.

A gift, freely given from God to you, and if you receive it from Him and accept Jesus as your personal saviour, the gift becomes much greater.  The gift is everlasting life.  No one, no man, can ever give you a greater gift.  The sacrifice that God made, to send His Son to live amongst us, and then to ulimately give His life, so that we can join Him in Heaven is greater than all the gold and jewels in the world.

So while we may struggle on earth, we can turn our hearts and minds to Jesus, and He will help us to ultimately spend eternity with Him.

25 days of God’s Gifts have led to the greatest gift, the gift of Salvation and Eternal Life through Jesus Christ.
