God’s Law
God’s Law, commonly known as the Ten Commandments found in Exodus 20:1-17 is not a list of things that you cannot do, it is instead a list to prove how much God loves you. By setting out His laws, we know what He expects of us.
Some people feel that the law was done away with when Christ was crucified, but that is false. If the law doesn’t exist anymore, then we have free range to kill, commit adultery, etc, and we all know that isn’t acceptable. ALL ten commandments are still in full force, and we should all know and understand them so we can truly understand what we need to be doing.
God’s law is part of His guidebook for us, and tomorrow we’ll learn about Patience.
