The Only Way

John 14-6 I Am The Way The Truth And The Life gold

Many people, pastors, ministers and priests will tell you how to get to Heaven.  They will preach confession, works, gifting, or other actions that you can take to assure you a place in Heaven, but there is only one way into Heaven and that is by following Jesus! John 14:6 reads:

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (NIV)

Jesus in this short verse gives us a road map to eternity.  Your GPS could not be this precise to get you where you want to go and yet it seems to have been lost by so many people.  If you want to get to Heaven, and don’t we all, then read this verse, commit it to memory and follow the simple instruction: “…no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Follow Jesus because He is the “way“, listen to Jesus because He is the “truth“, and live with Jesus because He is the “life“. It costs nothing to enter Heaven, you cannot buy a ticket with money, no matter how much you or your family (after your passing) give to a church or any one else!

Follow Jesus, obey the Ten Commandments (as originally written and unrevised), and you will be with Jesus and all the other believers when He returns.  Very simple, I hope to meet you there!
