It’s not Seasons Greetings or Happy Holidays, it’s Merry Christmas. We celebrate, not to give and receive gifts, but instead to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Although December 25th is not the true birthday of Christ, it’s a wonderful time to bring His story to everyone. So while you’re sitting around your tree or eating your turkey, please take the time to be thankful for the greatest gift ever given.
And if you’d like you can see my interpretation of the 25 Gifts from God that are my special gift to everyone: God’s Gifts
Judy and I are hosting a special Christmas Celebration at our local church on December 22 2018. This is a celebration of Christ’s Birth in Story and Song. Its another committment that we’re making to our church and to God.
This past August we spent a wonderful two weeks of rest, rejuvination and revitalization at Silver Hills Guesthouse Lumby, BC. This was a great time in a great location surrounded by people who became our new friends, and feel like family. This coming July we’re planning on spending a full week at Whitesands Camp for the Camp Meeting and again to rebuild our faith in our God.
We hope that whatever you do during the holidays and the coming year, it is to glorify God and place Him first in your hearts.
